ive been on a blogging hiatus. ugh. i hate catching up. of course my intentions were to blog about my uk adventures the week we got back so i didnt forget anything...but here i am. two months later.
and so....the d&m uk tour part uno. it was a blast. to say the least.
adventures and experiences i will never forget. we flew into london and first up on our tour was the massive O2 arena. what a way to kick off tour...i was not ready for the intensity of these wild uk fans. it took performing to a whole new level, and i loved every minute of it.
our tour bus driver was my fave...jonny! he always stocked the candy box, filled us with hours of pure entertainment, and ran over the crazy donny fans blocking our bus after the show. ha.

next up was brighton. the cutest little town. one of my favorite little hotel cottages, hotel du vin.
it was right on the english channel. our tour was literally a tour. we had like one day off in the middle, but other than that we performed at the venue, loaded the bus, drove to the next city, performed...repeat. we only had until about 3pm to explore all these amazing places.
and you bet i used every extra minute i had to do so....
we definitely did not starve on tour.
our catering was seriously the best. i gained 10lbs easy.
we then were off to Birmingham, Bournemouth, and Cardiff.

the best way to get to know a new city it walk. we walked everywhere...and sometimes (most the time) ran so we could see as much as possible before our call time.

we got into cardiff around 2am and were surprised by all the people out and about...on a tuesday night. it was a partyyyy town. so we joined the fun.
the uk takes clubbing to another extreme...costumes and all. and i just kept thinking..."its tuesday night"
we danced the night away here....
and then i ended that night in here.
